Folic acid

• Also known as Vitamin M, useful in the treatment of megaloblastic anemia”
• Doxylamine/pyridoxine/folic acid combination reduces the incidence of postoperative vomiting in women undergoing elective laparoscopic tubal ligation and may accelerate return to work
• Combination therapy of doxylamine/pyridoxine/folic acid is useful in the prevention of nausea and vomiting during pregnancy
