-A thiazolidinedione that has established efficacy in improving glycaemic control in patients with type 2 diabetes.
• Improved insulin resistance and glycemic control, as well as TG and high-density lipoprotein-cholesterol [HDL-C) and may help reduce cardiovascular risk for patients with type 2 diabetes.
• Effective in reducing blood glucose in patients with newly diagnosed Type 2 diabetes.
